Scrapbooking layouts

Some more scrapbook layouts to share with you!

I used this kit that came out, last week, from Traci Reed along with the FREE facebook fan add on to the kit! If you are interested in the fan freebie you can visit Traci Reed's designer page HERE.

I also used this fantastic template from Jeanye Labaya Designs, a newsletter freebie! You can check out Jeanye's FB fan page HERE!

and I came up with this layout of myself that I am really happy with and really glad I did!

Then I did a layout with some pictures that I had taken last fall at a Fall festival of Becca doing a mini tractor race. I took the pics because it was such a cute fun moment but I did not actually think of scrapping them until I saw this amazing kit from Julie Billingsley!

and this template pack from ... of course...Jeanye Labaya!

and here is the finished layout :)

thanks for looking, and have a fabulous Thursday!

Edit Me Challenge #13

Edit Me
I wanted to play along in this week's Edit Me Challenge. I enjoy editing photos. Not to get some weird artistic version (but if that is your thing, that is cool, too), but because I love trying to get the most out of every day photography. Not every one can be a professional photographer, but that does not mean you can not have great pics if you can learn a few Photoshop skills! So I love to play with mine and try to keep improving them!

Here is a look at the before picture that I downloaded:

I wanted to brighten up the picture but I also wanted to bring out the feel of coldness, by making the colors a bit cooler... I think it goes with the mittens and hats and gives you that outdoor cold weather feel! I also increased the contrast and tried to keep the browns, brown.

I am happy with the end result. This would be a great picture to scrapbook digitally! Thanks for looking!

Finally something crafty...aka...Spring Wreath

I felt so good doing something crafty again! Whew! It feels great to be fully moved and fully settled! Not one box remains unopened! WOW! I think that may actually be a first for me! lol.

Anyway, I saw on Pinterest, and then saw a few bloggers, do the grass wreath with the little flowers in it! Well, apparantly too many other Central Florida crafters wanted to as well, because the store had NO green yarn left!

So, I went with this absolutely lush, soft pink that I fell in love with. I also loved the idea of white with the pink... nice and subtle, soft, and girly. <3 Makes me heart happy!

The original flowers I got I did not at all like, so I went back to the craft store (oh poor me! hehe) and bought some Ranunculus. They worked well because they were pretty flat, and they had a stamen that was hidden so I could attach them simply with a pin! No glue even needed! I love the end result!

This was so simple. Just wrap the wreath form with the shaggy yarn, attach flowers... hang. Seriously, if I can do it, anyone can!

Happy Monday!
